David Zanotti grew up in a family of six in a small home outside Cleveland, Ohio. His father was a WWII veteran. His grandparents were Italian immigrants.

Mr. Zanotti attended Cuyahoga Community College, Mount Vernon Bible College, Mount Vernon Nazarene College, and completed graduate studies at Ashland University. He left his family's manufacturing company in 1985 to join the Ohio Roundtable.

David Zanotti currently serves as President/CEO of the American Policy Roundtable and The Public Square® Media Network. He also serves as President of Roundtable Freedom Forum, a legislative organization and is Chairman of Free Agents PAC, a federal Political Action Committee. Mr. Zanotti is a political independent. He holds no affiliation nor affinity for any political party.

In 1989 Mr. Zanotti created the news and commentary broadcast, The Public Square®, which has become one of the longest running daily feature broadcasts in America. Today, The Public Square®, co-hosted with Wayne Shepherd, is heard on over 200 stations coast to coast in both the daily and weekend editions and via the Internet. In October 2007, The Public Square® hosted the national radio special, “The God Delusion Debate” featuring Oxford Professors John Lennox and Richard Dawkins. In 2008, Mr. Zanotti and Mr. Shepherd co-hosted the historic national radio broadcast of The Saddleback Civil Forum on the Presidency, moderated by Rick Warren.

Since 1980, the American Policy Roundtable has been a pioneer in the field of non-partisan voter information. In 1998, APR established one of the first online voter information sites. Today, iVoters.com is one of the most visited voter information sites in America.

Mr. Zanotti is privileged to work with an outstanding team of leaders who have made a significant impact on public policy. Working from the bottom up on state and federal issues, the Roundtable has helped organize and mobilize efforts on voter registration and information, education issues, tax reform, health care and life issues, civil rights and religious liberties, national defense, energy policies, term limits, and more. The Roundtable has also battled to preserve the integrity of Constitutional law by engaging in successful strategic litigation against several seated Governors. The Roundtable played a pivotal role in the success of the defining case on School Choice before the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Zanotti and the work of the Roundtable have appeared on ABC News, NBC News, CBS News, PBS Frontline, The McNeil/Lehrer Report, Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, CNBC, C-SPAN, National Public Radio, The National Press Club, The Wall Street Journal, USAToday, The Washington Post, The Washington Times, The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Dallas Daily News, The LA Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, Time, Newsweek, US News and World Report, the BBC and several foreign media services. He also bumped into Larry King at a coffee shop in Beverly Hills, but has yet to make an appearance on Larry King Live.

Mr. Zanotti has been blessed in marriage to the same wonderful wife since 1976. Together, they have worked to raise three children in the hope of faith, family and liberty. His favorite movies are all comedies. After more than thirty years in public policy, he would still rather have lunch with Billy Crystal or Jimmy Fallon than attend a meeting at the White House or on Capitol Hill.
